New CD!

Digital Release Coming December 2017

The debut double album recording of The Little Match Girl Suite and Creation is here – just in time for the Holidays! These albums are a showcase of the amazing artistic talents right here in the Lowcountry. Two original scores composed by Laura Ball, commissioned by local ballet company Ballet Evolution, were recorded by sound engineer and drummer extraordinaire, Quentin Baxter, in the Recital Hall at the College of Charleston. The albums feature many of Charleston’s favorite chamber artists – including the cello stylings of Jump Little Children’s own Ward Williams – with original graphics by Marcus Amaker. This musical merchandise is written, crafted, made, recorded, designed, inspired by and proudly produced in the Lowcountry.

The Musical Anthology of Poetry, or M.A.P. Project seeks to wed the contemporary verse of living poets with the modern sounds and tools of pop music to create a new folk sound and songbook that can be used in schools to teach music performance techniques and theory while increasing vocabulary and cultivating lyricism and expression. The M.A.P. songbook provides a vehicle for students to engage with modern issues, topics and current events. For more Information, click here.
